MAC Blue India

I haven't had much good to say about MAC polish since the Style Black Collection. A few collections have come and gone without me mentioning them, because they were frankly boring crap.

But I picked up MAC Blue India from the Give Me Liberty of London Collection and I really like it. It's a great blue/Grey creme, One coat perfect, and I don't have anything like it! A winner! The other polish in this collection is Vestral White, a boring rerelease. If you can't find WHITE CREME cheaper than this, turn in your polish brush, please.

    Great color. It looks a lot like Sally Hansen - Gray by Gray. I wonder if they are dupes?

    This is a really interesting color! Reminds me of a dustier version of the blue from the OPI HOng Kong collection.

    i'm still on the fence about BI, your swatch makes me want to go out and get it though.
    it looks like blue india is more greenish than SH "gray by gray" but i could be wrong

    Actually, Michelle Mismas at All Laquered Up has a comparison shot of the two colors. They are close, but not dupes.

    I don't like MAC-polishes, I too think they are usually boring and overpriced crap, but I wil definately buy this one!!! Thank you for sharing.

    I also don't get excited over MAC nail polishes, but that blue one's interesting. Couldn't justify spending that much on one bottle, so I didn't get it. But as fate would have it, I came across Sally Hansen's Gray by Gray the other day and got it. It's close enough to fill the void. :)

    It's good to have you back! You're my favourite nail-polish blogger and I really enjoy not just looking at your swatches, but also reading your honest (and funny) commentary.

    nice! but i think that i have seen something similar to this by Sally Hansen in her new collection "The complete Salon Manicure" and there only about $7.oo. plus, I'M SO GLAD YOURE BACK!!

    I love this shade, too. To me it's a medium slate blue. Three thin coats to get bottle color, and it wore like iron. I'm not a creme lover, but I love this one, and couldn't stop staring at my hands.

    I wonder how close this color is to Sally Hansen's Complete Salon Manicure "Gray by Gray". It looks remarkably similar in the photo... but perhaps a touch more blue? Hm... :D
