New China Glaze Glitters!

Okay you've probably heard about the new China Glaze glitters, fifty of them, which are slowly being released. And you may have heard about the Sally Beauty exclusive ones also. I got these last week and they do not disappoint, in fact they fucking rock. I have a couple new all time favorite polishes!!

The best thing about these polishes is the ease of use and coverage. ALL of the following pictures are only *two* coats. And Ginger, Meteor Showers, and Cosmic could be one coat, if need be. The super thick glitter coverage, the ease of application, the eye popping flash of these glitters make them some of the best I have ever seen if not THE best I have ever seen. These rock out with their cock out. I love them. The Sally Beauty exclusives are simpler, just glitter in clear polish, but the brightness, size and great coverage (once again, only two coats) make them superior to other glitters, whether they be wear alone or topcoats.

So let's stop with the babbling and start the eye-popping goodness.

China Glaze Bad Kitty, a beautiful deep pink jelly, medium sheer, with medium grain opalescent glitter:

China Glaze Cosmic, a black creme with small grain silver glitter and large rainbow glitter. A lot like Icing Blackout but a hell of a lot easier to apply, better formula:
China Glaze Cosmic

China Glaze Medallion. Small gold and silver glitter with large rainbow glitter. Shiny as hell.:
China Glaze Medallion

China Glaze Preppy Pink is a super Barbie pink creme with large opalescent glitter. So girly and sweet, just super hot. Pink isn't a huge fave of mine but this makes me crazy.:

China Glaze Atlantis. Reminds me of BB Couture Sea of Cortez, and then makes me think I don't need another bottle of it now that I have Atlantis. This deep water ocean blue/green jelly is chock full of large rainbow glitter and small silver glitter.:

China Glaze Ginger is a copper/bronze metallic frost with silver and rainbow glitter. There's less rainbow glitter in this than the others. The effect is of rough, gleaming metal with intermittent rainbow flash. Totally hot.:

China Glaze Nova. Small Silver and large rainbow glitter in clear polish. Tons of rainbow glitter. this is like being covered in sequins!:

China Glaze Meteor Shower is my new absolute favorite blue of all time. It's a very deep navy blue creme stuffed with large opalescent glitter. I wish my picture could show you how truly gorgeous it is.:

China Glaze Carnival Lights, another addition to my favorite polishes. This rich rose colored jelly also has a metric fuckton of small silver and large rainbow glitter. My husband had appreciative, slutty things to say about it. I agree, it's hot as hell.:

China Glaze Cleopatra is small old gold color and small rainbow glitter in a clear base. Extremely flashy, blingier than the picture.:

O! A Daily OPI! - OPI Purple With a Purpose

I love Purple With a Purpose. It's such a beautiful shade, so full of vibrancy. And it has a lovely shimmer. Gorgeous if you like purples.

O! A Daily OPI! - OPI Thrills in Beverly Hills

OPI Thrills in Beverly Hills is a really nice glitter topcoat. I like it because the color is more of a rich old gold than a brassy harsh gold, the glitter size is small and looks better on top of other polishes, because the size blends in more, and the amount of glitter in it allows for a nice dispersal, even and full coverage.

O! A Daily OPI! - OPI Glacier Bay Blues

This is one of my favorite blues of all time. It's a navy base with a duochrome shimmer in teal and cobalt. Here you can only see the cobalt, unfortunately, take my word for it the teal is amazing. A completely unique stunner.

Winners of the China Glaze Rodeo Diva Collection Polishes!!

Wow, this was a great giveaway! As my blog gets better known, I am getting a lot more entries, this one had 160 entries. I reply to every entry, so if you did not get a reply from me for your entry, you'll know for next time I didn't get it. Don't be worried if a few days go by before I answer you, though. Sometimes it takes a few days.

I had a lot of fun answers, as usual! Some of my favorites:

I'd been a major OPI diehard fan for YEARS but just recently I've been hearing a lot of buzz about China Glaze. And then, I don't remember the details, but I saw "For Audrey," and I was instantly in love!!! I think it's the prettiest, smoothest Robin's egg blue ever!!! I'd love to try more of their stuff<333
-NikNasty

My favourite Chine Glaze's nail polish is Oh How Street It Is. When i paint my nails him – I feel like a Hollywood star! A small rhyme about Oh How Street It Is:
Sometimes its orange,
sometimes its red.
Applying is perfect,
And it is - the best.
-Oksana

My favourite China Glaze polish is "Ruby Pumps". I know it's a bit of a cliche, I just can't help loving its red glittery goodness!
-Flavia

My favorita CG polish (and this is a tough one to answer, I have many that I love) is For Audrey. Love the color, the name, and love how it was one of the first colors of its kind. LOVE the puzzled look on my ultraconservative, french manicures only family when they see me rocking it.
-Karina

My favorite China Glaze polish is QT from the OMG collection. Why? Well, that was the very first polish who got me into loving nail polish! I've never really liked putting on nail polish before that one. Before I bought it I had never either heard of the word holographic before, or brands like China Glaze, OPI, Misa, Zoya etc.. Crazy isn't it?
It is still the only one I have a back-up of! Love it, love it, love it and it loves my skin tone too!
-Kajsa

My favorite China Glaze is Tickle My Triangle, because I love holos and the name tickles my fancy. (That's just about the dumbest sentence I ever wrote, oh well!)
-Kris

Hmm, it's tough for me to choose just one China Glaze polish as my favourite. I'd have to say "Blue Sparrow" because it's a cheerful blue with glass flecks. It's not just beautiful, but also it wears like iron. I literally wore it for 3 weeks straight without reapplying any top coat before I saw my first chip! Incredible since at work I'm typing on the keyboard constantly!
- Mary

My favourite China Glaze polish is without a doubt Emerald Sparkle. It has a perfect shade of green and it's festive and wonderful and makes me just look and look and look at my nails. Whenever I wear it I feel fabulous and imagine that everyone I meet looks at me and thinks I'm pretty. It doesn't get any better than that :)
-Elisabeth

My favorite China Glaze, as of now, is Frostbite. Why? It is one of the most glorious blues I have seen. It is bright without being neon, has beautiful shimmer, it seems to just pop and glow at the same time, and it always draws my eye to it. All in all, Frostbite just makes me stare and keep staring and I enjoy every second.
Thank you for your time,
-Death

The winners are Anneli Ronngard and Carrie Thomson! Congratulations! Since neither specified which set they had a preference for, they will be surprised by my choice. :D

O! A Daily OPI! - OPI An Affair In Red Square

This is perhaps my favorite OPI red nail polish. I love the near metallic quality that makes it glow.

BTW Getting tipsy apparently made me snore last night. I woke up with a bit of a head cold, which I often get when I dry out my mouth and sinuses. I don't see margaritas in my future for another year. :eyeroll:

September is O! A Daily OPI!! - OPI Rent

September starts us off on another month of daily polish swatches from one particular brand, this month it is the wonderful, always popular and highly visible OPI. Not the most daring, not the most conservative, but always out there with tons of great colors and more than their share of fashion forward and hot polishes. The Designer Series alone should make OPI one of your fave polish brands!

Let's start with OPI Rent!! A very sheer polish, this would be better used with french manicure or as a complementary topcoat. It would be stunning with OPI Significant Other Color, which I am sure I will feature on another day. This isn't my favorite picture, but it's fitting, cause it's time to pay the rent, and also I like my nice long nails in it. Hee!
